Since 1982, many Houstonians have enjoyed the warmth and comfort that R.J. Simpson Esq. has been able to provide for their homes and work places. Born in England to a craftsman himself, R.J. Simpson grew up learning the art of fine furniture firsthand. R.J., Robert John, or Sam to many friends and clients, moved to Houston with his wife, Jackie, to share his knowledge and passion of fine furniture with anyone who was willing to partake. After years of teaching his art to his children, R.J. passed away December 3, 2006 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

R.J. Simpson Inc. has entered a new era and is being run by Christopher Simpson, R.J. and Jackie's son, and the administration of the business by Jackie.
